Salina Vu is a Vietnamese-American artist currently living and working in the United States.

She was born into the loving care of her Parents, humble farmers in a rural region of Vietnam, and grew up among vast rice fields, green canopies of trees, seasonal fruits, and countless small living beings. From that land, a deep love for nature and all living things flowed into her like breath itself — a love not merely to observe, but to listen to, protect, and become one with.

From early childhood, she learned to love every leaf and blade of grass, every stream and cloud, to cherish animals as her silent companions, and to honor the natural environment as part of her own body. For her, nature does not stand apart from humanity, but lives within every heartbeat and breath. Life, therefore, is not merely existence, but a miracle unfolding each day.

Through many journeys in life, until the day she set foot in the United States, a spiritual flame has continued to glow within her — both gentle and unyielding, passionate, resilient, and profoundly simple. She chooses to live slowly, to listen to the subtle rhythms of the earth, to love what is unadorned and unpretentious, and to nurture her inner life through mindfulness.

In her artistic practice, Salina finds herself in a quiet dialogue between nature, mindfulness, and inner awareness, while also portraying the humble beauty found in labor and everyday life. Inspired by meditative practice and the natural environment, her art reflects a deep reverence for life in all its forms. She cherishes subtle imperfections and raw, organic materials, allowing each brushstroke to carry not only color, but also the breath of the earth and the honesty of the moment.

Through her work, Salina Vu does not merely create images, but crafts quiet spaces — where viewers may pause amid the rush of life, return to pure inner peace, and reconnect with the primal beauty of both themselves and the world around them.
